Amy Morawa-Murphy is the Principal of ALM Design and is an expert in graphic design and design process services that consider the form, content, and context of your communications.

She began her career after receiving a BFA in computer graphics from Pratt Institute in 1992. As part of the first art school graduates in the country to receive formal training in digital design, she apprenticed with world-renowned illustrator and pioneer digital artist, Barbara Nessim. After completing her apprenticeship, she quickly entered the corporate work force in New York City with Judson Rosebush Company, directing and designing CD-ROMs for clients such as CBS, HBO, M&M Mars, New York Times, DC Comics and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her work with the New York Times and the MET produced the award winning CD ROM “The War in Vietnam” and the children’s CD ROM “Look What I See!” respectively.

In 1996, Amy turned toward the brighter opportunities of designing and developing for the Internet. She ran a successful freelance business designing web sites, as well as, teaching continuing education courses on the same subject.

In 1998 she relocated to Denver and over the next few years had the opportunity to work with some of the premier .com consultancies serving clients such as Xcel Energy, Wells Fargo, Budget Rent-a-Car, Aspen Ski Company, Einstein Bros., and Universal Studios Florida and Janus Corporation.

During this time, she briefly took a role as Creative Director for Viewmark during which she re branded the company and produced several websites including an award winning site for newly acquired Baby Einstein, a first generation site for it's new parent Disney.

In 2001 she formally established ALM Design and re-entered the consulting world as an independent continuing work as strategist, information architect, visual designer and developer for a variety of clientele including YAO, Western Union/First Data, Slipstream BPM, TogetherBe, Pluris Marketing, and AfricAid.
